CRITTERS GONE CRAZY
We’re returning to the fabulous Sipadan Water Village in Malaysia for a special week of amazing diving in October 2018!
Details are still being ironed out but the “Critters Week” is Oct. 13-20, 2018. We can add on more days at the Resort or a 3-night add-on to see orangutans & proboscis monkeys…oh, sun bears & pygmy elephants can be seen as well! Pricing for the add-ons will be available mid-late 2017 and airfare can’t be added until Nov 2017 but here’s pricing for the week at the Water Village:
Standard Cottage: $2750**/pp based on double occupancy
There are now 8 standard & 2 deluxe cottages that have air conditioning. There is a $10/pp/night surcharge for that. FYI, we have stayed at the Water Village 4 times and have never missed a/c; they have huge French doors that open to the ocean, big ceiling fans and are located over the water away from Mabul Island, but some folks insist on a/c so the Resort has added it to some of the cottages.
What's included: The rate includes round-trip ground & boat transfers; 3 fabulous meals daily; 3 boat dives daily including Mabul, Kapalai & Sipadan Islands and unlimited shore diving on the Water Village’s 2 amazing house reefs. Airfare, additional nights at the resort or add-ons will be added when available to confirm and mandatory group trip insurance will be included once a total package price is obtained.
A $750/pp deposit will be required to confirm your space and additional deposits will be due once airfare & add-ons are added. Passports with 6 months remaining validity are required for travel to Malaysia. International airfare will be quoted on Cathay Pacific once it becomes available to book; they offer Premium Economy Seating as well as coach, business & first class seating.
About Malaysia: The still unexplored seabeds of Malaysia are unrivaled for the variety and spectacular beauty of the marine life they host. Mabul is still a 'secret' destination reserved for a very few. Every dive holds a surprise or a new species, always rare or at least uncommon, always strange, and always difficult to identify without the aid of the by-now highly expert local dive masters, who have truly invented a professional specialization.
*PLEASE NOTE: All prices reflect a 3.5% discount for purchases made with cash/check. THERE ARE NO DISCOUNTS FOR SALES MADE ON CREDIT CARDS.
